BRANDED WORK

As well as his film and television work, Tim has created branded content for a wide range of clients, through Vast Productions as well as for other production companies.

For the Spinifex Group, Tim played a variety of roles, initially writing and directing, then producing and executive producing films for clients including Cisco, IBM and Nissan/Infiniti.

These projects were produced in New York, Los Angeles and Sydney, and included a $1.2 million wide screen drama film with heavy 3D and 2D for World Expo Shanghai, and for Nissan/Infiniti, several suites of films and interactive experiences. Tim wrote voice overs for the Nissan/Infiniti account which were read by Robert Downey Jr. and by Henry Rollins.

With Spinifex client and collaborator ESI Design, Tim produced content for Barclay's Bank New York and for the screens at Barclay's Center, Brooklyn, as well as an immersive 9 screen lobby experience for 330 Hudson Street Manhattan, which drew in a complex sequence of live and canned data.

Tim has also directed and produced branded work for arts clients such as Gaynor Crawford and Melbourne Recital Centre, and has worked with musical artists including Martha Wainwright and Gary Lucas, as well with Gotye and Kimbra.

CISCO PAVILION SHANGHAI WORLD EXPO 2010 FILM. The brief: to show how technology will be a seamless part of our lives in 2030. characters in a future Shanghai are guided through crisis by the networked city around them.

Produced by Tim Slade for Spinifex Group, directed by well-known Chinese director, Yang Qingsheng, and working with a large team in China and in Australia. Film made to  3240 x 1080 pixels on a custom curved screen with 5.1 surround sound. Winner of the Cisco Chairman's Award.
